Blossom Mentoring For
Emerging Change Catalysts

There is another way to gain clarity, boost your confidence, and start your momentum with a series of small, incremental tasks that verify you are on the right track and confirm your work is just what your clients need to make progress in their own lives.

As a new coach, I was all over the place as far as how to get my coaching business up and running. Enrolling in this program with Carol has been the best gift I have given myself. Carol normalizes all the fears, hesitation, and uncertainty that can stop new coaches from taking action. She also provides the space, structure, and mentoring support new coaches need to gain the clarity about every aspect of their business. By creating this strong foundation for my business, I now have what I need to market my work/business with confidence.”

Blossom Mentoring Sequence

After several years of working with Emerging Change Catalysts, in both private and group mentoring formats, I’ve realized that there are three distinct phase to bringing your emerging business to life so that you are ready to bring on paying clients.

Focusing on the following three phases in this order provides you with the strongest foundation and deepest roots for growth.

Module 1

Blossom with Clarity: What business do you want to grow?

I have had tons of anxiety about “launching a coaching business.” I’m afraid my launch will end up exploding on the launch pad and go down in a blaze of glory as it was simply a faulty idea fueled by time and money that then goes up in smoke.

During the program I knew I was getting into doing some important work because I started feeling internal friction and simply wanted to put it off so I wouldn’t have to actually figure any of this out. But that lack of clarity would have put me in exactly the same spot I have been in — full of knowledge and a desire to help, but not taking action because I don’t have any of the specifics figured out. Whew. Am I happy I did this program!

I think you are truly wonderful, and I love absolutely everything about this class. It really helped me to slow down and think things through to gain more clarity. This program is like a cozy blanket and warm cup of tea for my soul.

I have come a LONG WAY in gaining clarity about my direction!! THANK YOU!

Before you can start creating your business, you need to identify your idea with potential. This idea is the seed that will, with care and tending, grow into your business. (If you already have a good sense of your idea with potential, you can choose to skip this module.)

  • Most people look at their top 3-5 skills and interests and then try to figure out which ones to use as inspiration for the focus of their emerging business. In this program, you use a series of ten time-tested activities to identify your top 20 skills and top 20 interests. When you see this list that reflects what is important to you, you’ll feel a deeper connection with what you bring to your work.

  • Then in a private 90-minute synthesizing session, we’ll weave all the key threads of your discoveries together to articulate your idea with potential. In this conversation, we’ll explore how you want to contribute your talents, skills, and expertise and with whom. At this stage of your journey, we are looking for the deep connection you have with the work you are here to offer.

My Blossom clients typically complete this module in 3-4 weeks. You can work through the ten activities at your own pace. I read and respond to all 10 assignments as you send them to me via email. When you have finished gathering clues, we’ll schedule your private 90-minute synthesizing session. $375.00

Module 2

Blossom with Confidence: What’s the First Offer You’ll Share with Potential Clients?

The next element you need to prepare is your initial offer and work out the logistics of working with a paying client.

  • Although many Emerging Change Catalysts believe that they need to have a vision for their entire business before they can start their business, I have found that the key to moving forward with paying clients is to design an initial service, program, or offering that is simple and effective. Through a series of written prompts, you’ll get to the heart of your first offer. You’ll craft each element of your offer, the pricing, and the format you’ll use.

  • In addition, you learn the key logistics you need to have in place to feel confident with your first paying clients. (Hint: For now, simplicity is key!)

  • You receive guidance as you figure out how to describe your initial offer so you can share your work informally with potential clients and those who can refer clients to you.

The format for this module is the same as the previous module. Generally my mentoring clients take 3-4 weeks to work through the twelve activities in this section. As before, you can do these assignments at your own pace. I’ll read and respond all 13 assignments as you send them to me via email. When you have finished gathering your clues, we’ll have a private 90-minute mentoring session to pull together the specifics of your first offer and the logistics you need to have in place to feel comfortable reaching out to your first potential clients. $375.00

Module 3:

Blossom with Momentum: How Will You Bring on Paying clients?

After preparing for your business in the Blossom with Clarity and Blossom with Confidence Modules, it is time to share your offer with those who will benefit from their work with you.

This phase of your journey as an Emerging Change Catalyst is a dynamic one. As you begin to share your offer with potential clients in real time, you’ll discover there are a lot of new skills to learn, new situations to figure out, and new opportunities to act on. It’s extremely helpful to have a mentor accompanying you on this part of your journey so that you can get your questions answered in the moment rather than waiting for your next mentoring session or trying to figure everything out by yourself. Growing your business layer by layer builds your courage, your confidence, and your momentum.

The timing of your progress at this point isn’t just up to you! Your pace will be influenced by your clients’ availability and progress as well as new, sometimes unexpected, discoveries and opportunities that guide you to evolve or refine your offer based on the feedback you receive.

During your Blossom with Momentum, you’ll reach several milestones.

Carol truly understands the specific nuances, fears, and questions most new coaches face when launching their business. Her gentle and compassionate teaching style made me feel instantly welcomed as she deeply listened and connected to each student’s concerns about moving forward on their particular path. I found the homework to be challenging and rewarding because it forced me to really narrow down some of my ideas and to expand upon others. One of my favorite gems from Carol is, “when you take a series of effective actions, then you build momentum.”

  • You’ll do a pilot test of your first offer with a couple of clients to gain their feedback. From their input and your own observations, you’ll strengthen and refine your service.

  • You’ll discover what you need to have in place to share your first offer with potential clients. This will include setting up several key marketing elements (Thankfully, it’s a much shorter list than you may think!) and learning some of the best ways to reach out to clients as an Emerging Change Catalyst. (I promise, the answer has nothing to do with social media!)

  • You’ll reach out to potential clients and potential referrers and enroll new paying clients. While working with these clients, you’ll continue to enhance your offer as a result of their feedback.

  • You’ll explore for ways to enhance your outreach that resonate with you, align with your values, and contribute to the needs of your clients. As you feel ready to boost your visibility, you’ll build in more sophisticated outreach systems to begin creating a comfortable flow of potential clients who are getting to know about you and your work.

To keep you nimble and well-resourced during this phase, the Blossom with Momentum Mentoring includes a variety of support elements:

  • Activities with writing prompts. When I read your response, I’ll reply with guidance, questions to ponder, and specific actions you can take to move forward.

  • Prompts to provide a weekly check-in so that I can support you in staying focused on your next steps.

  • Informative reference materials with tips and guidance.

You’ll know you are never alone in this journey. Through these interactive opportunities, you’ll have multiple ways to reach out with questions. In addition, if I see a way I can support you in making better progress, I will offer guidance and mentoring to keep you moving forward. Having access to support helps you roll with what’s unfolding with potential clients and act on opportunities that present themselves. (If desired, you may also arrange for private mentoring sessions during this phase as well. $150/hour for mentoring group members.)

To gain momentum and receive the full benefits of this mentoring process, I recommend participating in this mentoring program until you have successfully brought on 10-15 new paying clients. I would estimate 4-6 months, but a lot of the timing depends on you and your clients. $200/month

Bonus: Throughout your time in the Blossom Mentoring Sequence, you’ll also have access to a group community that’s exploring and deepening their connection with the Organic Wisdom Culture. This dynamic group will support you in staying connected with the Organic Way even when Mainstream messages are noisy and deeply rooted in your way of thinking.
